Locum Tenens NP/PA – Geriatric Medicine

Rate: Open & Negotiable
Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Start Date: June 15, 2026
End Date: Ongoing (TBD)

Position Details:

Patient Population: Geriatric patients (55+)

Setting: PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) clinic

Responsibilities:

Provide primary and preventive care to elderly patients
Manage chronic conditions and medication regimens
Conduct assessments and treatment planning
Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary PACE team

Required Procedures:

Comprehensive geriatric assessments
Chronic disease management
Medication management

EMR System: Epic

Support Staff: Medical Director and interdisciplinary PACE team

Days Per Month: Full-time coverage

On-Call/Weekends: No call and no weekend requirements

Submission Requirements:
Board Certified NP (ANCC/AANP) or PA
Active North Carolina license
BLS certification
DEA and CDS registration
Minimum 1 year of experience with frail or elderly patients
Must be local (only mileage reimbursed)

• Outpatient-only schedule with no call or weekends
• Work autonomously with Medical Director support
• Meaningful opportunity to care for an underserved geriatric population
