Job description

The role is located in Ocala. We do have other locations in Florida.

APPs work alongside a supervising physician in the clinic, seeing the same senior Medicare Advantage population under the same value-based model. PA or APRN both work. The APP does not carry a separate panel. You are working the supervising physician's panel with them.

An APP coming from a role where they ran their own panel is going to feel the difference, and this clinic is specifically looking for people who want a collaborative setup rather than a fully autonomous one.

Requirements

● PA or APRN, licensed in the state of the position.

● Adult and senior primary care focus.

● 2+ Years of experience in outpatient

● DEA license, current CPR certification, clean OIG status.

● Comfortable in a collaborative model working the supervising physician's panel.


Time off and professional

● Paid time off: 4 weeks, 160 hours. That covers vacation, sick time, CME, appointments, and emergencies. Prorated by start date, and up to 80 hours roll over year to year.

● 8 paid holidays with no waiting period: New Year's Day, MLK Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, the day after Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

● CME reimbursement up to $1,500 a year for approved coursework, licensing fees, membership dues, and other pre-approved professional expenses. No rollover.

● Medical license and DEA renewal fees covered, plus professional liability insurance.


Insurance and retirement

● Medical, dental, vision, disability, and life. FSA and dependent care FSA. Supplemental accident, critical illness, and hospital indemnity plans available.

● Eligibility starts the first of the month after a 30-day waiting period.

● 401(k) with an employer match, plus access to a dedicated financial advisor for both the 401(k) and personal investment questions.

• The APP does not carry a separate panel. You are working the supervising physician's panel with them.
• 10 to 15 patients a day. Panel is almost entirely Medicare Advantage: 65 and older, or under 65 with a qualifying disability. Higher acuity than a general adult panel.
