Skilled nursing / family medicine physician needed in southern Illinois

Job description

Board certified or board eligible provider (in either family or internal medicine) needed for float coverage at multiple skilled nursing facilities in the St. Louis metro area of southern Illinois. Locations include Alton, Godfrey, Mascoutah, Cahokia, and Mt. Vernon.

Requirements and position details:
BE/BC in FM or IM
BLS required
3 month assignment with an opportunity to extend
Mostly geriatric patients
Minimum of 16 patients per day***once the provider has reached 16 patients per day, they are good to leave
EMR: PCC and Arrista (new system)
2 week credentialing

• Multiple sites in a 20 mile radius
• Mainly geriatric population
• Patients top out at 16 per day- after that, provider is good to go home
