Quality Work/Life Primary Care Physician Opportunity Near Orlando

Job description

We are looking for a bilingual (Spanish) physician that can go to 3 days in Davenport & 2 in Celebration FL. 12-25 adult patients per day. This is a Managed Care/Risk Management position.

Duties Include:

- Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult patients
- Perform physical examinations and diagnose medical conditions
- Develop and implement treatment plans for acute and chronic illnesses
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory tests and imaging studies
- Prescribe medications and administer injections as needed
- Perform minor surgical procedures, such as suturing and biopsies
- Provide health coaching and education to patients on preventive care and healthy lifestyle choices
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and referrals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems
- Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure a safe environment for patients and staff

Qualifications:

- Medical degree from an accredited school of medicine
- Valid medical license in Florida
- Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Experience in primary care practice preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make sound clinical judgments
- Familiarity with data management systems and ability to maintain accurate medical records according to industry standards
