Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Geriatric Psychiatry – Multiple Locations (Providence and Warwick) in Rhode Island Full‑Time or 4‑Day Schedule | ASAP Start

A mission‑driven geriatric behavioral health organization in Rhode Island is seeking a PMHNP to join their growing team.

Position Overview
Inpatient/onsite geriatric psychiatry

Patients are all local nursing home residents

Work alongside experienced NPs initially; transition to independent practice once established

Pacher EMR

Strong clinical support team

Smaller, hands‑on organization with no micromanagement

Multiple locations with high patient volume

Schedule & Work Environment
Mon–Fri, 8:00am–2:00pm (flexible arrival; not required to be in the building exactly at 8)

30–60 minute lunch, flexible

Option for 4 days/week instead of 5

No one stays past 2–3pm

Ability to complete notes from home

High autonomy, supportive leadership, straightforward workflow

Requirements
PMHNP required (RI compliance)

Minimum 6+ months of experience

Comfortable working with geriatric populations

Ability to manage a steady patient load across multiple sites
