Permanent Geriatric Psychiatry Opportunity in Greenville, NC - Academic Employment

Job description

Tinkbird Healthcare Staffing is seeking a fellowship trained BE/BC Geriatric Psychiatrist. The successful candidate will join a growing academic division with a full-time tenure track appointment at the rank of professor or associate professor. Clinical assistant or clinical associate professor fixed term appointments are also available.

The successful candidate will provide direct clinical care in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. Responsibilities will also include teaching and clinical supervision of medical students, residents, and other health professional trainees and clinical research.

Growing 9-hospital physician led healthcare system
Inpatient clinical responsibilities will be for consults only on the current 52 bed inpatient behavioral health unit
Outpatient clinical responsibilities will included seeing patients at the outpatient clinic and the geriatric center
Monday-Friday 8a – 5p schedule
Excellent blend of clinical care, teaching, and scholarly activities
Work with growing, multi-disciplinary, and collegial department
Salary and academic rank (tenure track or fixed term) commensurate with experience and academic background
Opportunities exist for student loan repayment from the North Carolina Medical Society and The North Carolina Office of Rural Health
