TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Fellowship-Trained, Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Geriatric Psychiatrist for an academic opportunity in Greenville, North Carolina. This position offers an excellent blend of clinical care, teaching, and scholarly activity within a growing, multidisciplinary behavioral health program.

Clinical Opportunities
Multiple clinical practice options are available, including:
Consultation
Outpatient care
Inpatient consultation
Specialized geriatric psychiatry services

Inpatient Responsibilities
Provide psychiatric consultation services on a 144-bed behavioral health unit
Primary clinical focus will be the dedicated 24-bed geriatric psychiatry/medical unit
Inpatient responsibilities are consultation-based
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary behavioral health team

Outpatient Responsibilities
Provide outpatient psychiatric care
See patients in a dedicated Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine outpatient clinic
Provide care through a specialized geriatric medicine center

Academic Responsibilities
Teach medical students, residents, and other health professional trainees
Provide clinical supervision to learners
Participate in scholarly activities
Collaborate with a growing, multidisciplinary academic department
Opportunity for a tenure-track academic appointment based on credentials

Qualifications & Requirements
Fellowship trained in Geriatric Psychiatry
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
Appropriate North Carolina medical licensure
Strong interest in academic medicine, teaching, and clinical education
