About the clinician's workday

The gynecological oncologist will provide 24-hour inpatient call coverage, coming off call at 8:30 AM, with weekday morning rounding on 3-5 post-operative patients as needed. Consults are initially directed to Physician Associates; the clinician will admit patients as required and handle weekend call, with on-site weekend presence limited to surgical emergencies. Responsibilities include signing chemotherapy orders, writing prescriptions, and performing required procedures such as robotic surgeries, minimally invasive procedures, and inpatient chemotherapy, with chemotherapy administered by the locum MD. Documentation is completed using EPIC EMR.
