About the clinician's workday

The gynecological oncologist will provide inpatient and clinic-based coverage during day shifts, managing approximately 20 patients in clinic and performing 3-4 OR cases per day on surgical days. Responsibilities include gynecological oncology surgical cases, inpatient consults, and clinic visits, with call coverage required at a 1:4 ratio. Chemotherapy oversight has been transitioned to the medical oncology team and is not a primary responsibility of this role. Board certification in Gynecological Oncology is required for this assignment.
