Shift Details: Variable schedule including office-based patient care, surgical procedures, inpatient rounding/consultation, and call coverage. Specific schedule to be determined based on provider availability and coverage needs.
Schedule:
Full-time coverage needed
Coverage will include a combination of:
Outpatient clinic sessions
Operating room time for gynecologic oncology cases
Hospital-based inpatient care and consultations
Weekday, evening, and weekend call coverage as needed
Holiday coverage as applicable
Work Details:
Support Staff: Front Desk Staff, Medical Assistants, Registered Nurses, Office Manager, Office Coordinator
Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: Full-time preferred; will consider partial coverage based on candidate availability
Patients per Day: Approximately 15-25 patients per clinic day consisting of new patients and follow ups
Patient Population/Age: Adult female patients requiring gynecologic oncology evaluation, treatment, surgical management
Department Description: Established gynecologic oncology practice within Main Line HealthCare providing comprehensive cancer care, including outpatient consultation, surgical oncology procedures, inpatient management, multidisciplinary cancer care coordination, and long-term surveillance.
EMR: Epic
Hospital Bed Size: Lankenau Medical Center is a tertiary care academic medical center with 370 licensed beds
Special Procedures: Full spectrum gynecologic oncology surgical and medical management, including minimally invasive surgery, robotic-assisted procedures, open oncologic surgery, cancer staging, debulking procedures, and inpatient oncology care
Skills Required: Experienced Gynecologic Oncologist capable of independently managing complex gynecologic oncology patients in ambulatory, operative, inpatient, and call settings. Candidate must be comfortable performing gynecologic oncology surgeries, managing oncologic emergencies, and participating in multidisciplinary cancer care.
