Assignment Details:

Start Date: July 2026
Contract Length: Through December 2026
Schedule: 3–7 shifts per month
Practice Setting: Inpatient
Patient Population: Obstetrical patients
EMR: Meditech
Annual Deliveries: Approximately 600

Work Details:

Provide inpatient OB Hospitalist coverage
Serve as backup call support for Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs)
Manage and support high-risk obstetrical deliveries
Collaborate with CNMs, who take first call and are surgical first assists
Work alongside a multidisciplinary team including:
24/7 Anesthesiology
Neonatology
Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) specialists
Respond to callback needs while remaining within 15 minutes of the hospital during call coverage

Requirements:

State License: Active Tennessee license required
Board Certification: Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
DEA: Required
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of OB Hospitalist experience
Skills Required: High-risk obstetrical delivery experience
