Midwife Needed in Fort Walton Beach, FL

Midwife Needed in Fort Walton Beach, FL:
Start: May/June 2026
Schedule: 3–6 shifts/month
Shift Options: 12 or 24-hour shifts (days/nights)
Setting: Inpatient hospital
CNM Role: First assist for deliveries with OBGYN backup

Facility Details:
Modern hospital with LDRP rooms and dedicated C-section suites
Level I NICU with 24/7 anesthesia coverage
EMR: Meditech

Responsibilities:
Manage intrapartum, postpartum, and OB triage patients
Perform deliveries with physician backup
Collaborate within OB/CNM team
Support patient-centered, holistic care

Requirements:
Board Certified CNM
Active FL license (or RN Compact)
DEA required
2+ years of OB/inpatient experience
Surgical first assist experience
BLS required (NRP preferred)
