Location: Beaumont, Texas

Start Date: September 30, 2026 (Go-Live Date)

Assignment Length: Ongoing

Schedule

* 4–8 call shifts per month
* 12-hour and 24-hour call shifts available
* Shift options include:

* 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
* 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
* 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM

Clinical Responsibilities

* Manage labor and delivery patients, including spontaneous vaginal deliveries
* Provide OB triage evaluations for labor symptoms, rupture of membranes, and pregnancy-related complications
* Deliver postpartum care and newborn assessments
* First Assist responsibilities required
* Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and ancillary team members
* Document patient encounters in Epic EMR
* Support a practice with approximately 2,000 annual deliveries

Support & Coverage

* 24/7 Emergency Medicine coverage
* 24/7 Anesthesiology coverage
* In-house OB/GYN physician support
* Family Medicine physicians with obstetrics experience

Requirements

* Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM)
* Active certification through the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB)
* Current Texas RN and APRN licenses
* Minimum of 2 years of hospital-based experience managing:

* Intrapartum care
* Postpartum care
* OB triage
* First Assist responsibilities
* Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required by start date
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required by start date

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with Obstetric Ultrasound
* Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification
* Lactation Consultant experience

Start Date: November 2026 (Go-Live)

Assignment Length: Ongoing

Schedule

* 3–7 shifts per month
* 12-hour and 24-hour in-house call shifts available
* Shift options include:

* 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
* 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
* 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM

Practice Setting

* Full-scope midwifery practice
* Inpatient labor and delivery coverage
* Level III NICU onsite
* 24-hour in-house OB/GYN physician support
* EMR: Epic
* Approximately 1,300–1,500 annual births

Clinical Responsibilities

* Manage labor and delivery patients
* Provide intrapartum, postpartum, and OB triage care
* First Assist in obstetric procedures
* Perform postpartum care and follow-up
* Conduct well-woman gynecologic exams across the lifespan
* Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and ancillary team members

Requirements

* Board-Certified Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM)
* Active Texas RN/APRN license
* Active Texas DEA
* Minimum of 2 years of full-scope midwifery experience
* Minimum of 2 years of recent First Assist experience
* First Assist experience must be within the past 2 years
* Experience managing intrapartum, postpartum, and OB triage patients in a hospital setting preferred
