Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) – Norfolk, VA
📅 Start: ASAP | 10/26/2026 target
⏳ Contract: 3+ months | 1099
🗓️ Schedule:
Primarily weekend coverage, approximately 2 weekends/month12-hour day shifts: 7 AM–7 PM
12-hour night shifts: 7 PM–7 AM
Approximately 13 shifts/month
No call!
🏥 Position Details:
Inpatient OB/Midwifery
Approximately 10 deliveries and 11 triage patients daily across the department
Prenatal, labor and delivery, postpartum, and women's health care
Vaginal deliveries, fetal monitoring, laceration repairs, and obstetric procedures
Collaborative management of moderate- and high-risk OB patients with OB/GYN physicians
EMR: Epic
✅ Requirements:
Active Virginia license
Current CNM board certification
Virginia DEA or willingness to update/obtain registration
Strong labor and delivery, prenatal, and postpartum experience
Ability to independently perform required CNM procedures
