This position supports an OB/GYN physician in an outpatient setting and provides comprehensive nursing care, patient education, care coordination, and clinical support across women's health services.

Average patient volume: 18-22 patients per day

Schedule
Monday-Thursday: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM-12:00 PM Clinical / 12:00 PM-5:00 PM Administrative Time
Lunch break provided

Clinical Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care in the OB/GYN clinic setting
Obtain and document patient histories, medications, allergies, and vital signs
Perform patient assessments and identify changes in condition requiring provider intervention
Provide telephone and in-person clinical triage
Assist with gynecologic examinations, procedures, and treatments
Prepare patients for gynecological, prenatal, postpartum, and related procedures
Administer medications, injections, vaccines, and treatments within scope of practice
Assist with specimen collection, laboratory testing, and follow-up of results
Provide education regarding:
Preventive women's health
Reproductive health
Contraception
Prenatal and postpartum care
Medications and treatment plans
Coordinate referrals, follow-up appointments, and specialty care services
Monitor and follow up on abnormal laboratory and diagnostic results
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic
Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Requirements
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Active, unrestricted North Carolina RN license
Current BLS Certification
Minimum 1 year of nursing experience preferred
Outpatient experience preferred
Previous women's health, OB/GYN, prenatal, postpartum, reproductive health, or ambulatory care experience preferred
Experience with Epic EMR preferred
Strong assessment, communication, and patient education skills
Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
