🏥 Gynecology Surgery First Assist (Locum Tenens)

📍 Location: New Jersey

⏰ Schedule:
Monday – Friday | Day Shifts

🗓️ Assignment Duration:
6-Month Assignment

### ⚡ THE HIGHLIGHTS:

• Join an inpatient surgical team providing first assist support for robotic gynecologic procedures.

• Work alongside experienced gynecologic surgeons in the operating room.

• Practice in a Level III Trauma hospital.

• Collaborative practice environment with supervising surgeon present during every case.

• Cerner/Oracle EMR utilized for clinical documentation.

### 🛑 SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS (Strict Compliance):

• Board Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner with RNFA certification.

• First Assist Certification with robotic surgery experience required.

• Active New Jersey license required (providers needing licensure will not be considered).

• Current BLS, ACLS, and ATLS or ATCN certifications required.

• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred.

• NPDB Self-Query Report completed within the last 30 days required at presentation.

• New graduates will not be considered.

### 📋 CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• First Assist for robotic gynecologic surgical procedures.

• Provide intraoperative assistance during gynecologic surgeries.

• Collaborate closely with the operating surgeon throughout each procedure.

• Maintain accurate surgical documentation using Cerner/Oracle EMR.

• Deliver high-quality patient care throughout the perioperative experience.

• Hospital

• Inpatient Operating Room

• Level III Trauma Center

### 👥 PATIENT POPULATION:

• Adult Patients

### ☎️ CALL COVERAGE:

• **No Call**

### ✈️ TRAVEL & REIMBURSEMENT:

• Mileage reimbursed at the current IRS Standard Rate.

### 🏅 CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS:

• Board Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) **or** Nurse Practitioner with RNFA

• First Assist Certification with Robotic Surgery

• Active New Jersey License

• BLS

• ACLS

• ATLS or ATCN
