Locums OBGYN Physician

Job description

We are seeking a Locums OBGYN Physician to provide coverage in Manchester, NH. This opportunity offers a flexible schedule with two shift options: 7 AM – 7 PM or 7 PM – 7 AM. Providers working the day shift will take backup pager call for the night shift, though call-ins are rare. Occasional 24-hour shifts may also be available.  The Locums OBGYN Physician will work in a 24/7 midwife model, ensuring continuous in-house coverage alongside a midwife. This role includes supervising residents, providing OBGYN coverage for the ER, and assisting with approximately 1,000 deliveries per year (averaging 2-3 per day). The physician must be proficient in performing circumcisions and D&C procedures for miscarriages, though no terminations are performed at the hospital.   Requirements:   Board Certified OBGYN Active New Hampshire license (or willingness to obtain) BLS, ACLS, and DEA certification  Manchester is New Hampshire’s largest city, offering a mix of urban convenience and outdoor recreation. It boasts charming downtown areas, cultural attractions, and easy access to the White Mountains and Atlantic coastline. With a low cost of living compared to other New England cities and no state income tax, it’s an excellent location for locums work.
