Job description

SUMO Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced OBGYN physician for ongoing clinic and call coverage in New Mexico. The practice offers a manageable clinic and delivery volume with broad scheduling availability heading into 2027.

Highlights -
Mon–Fri clinic, 8a–5p
Less than 15 patients/day
Approximately 8–10 deliveries/month
Mostly low-risk OB
Epic EMR
2 OBGYNs plus RN and MA support
C-section assist available
Multiple December dates
January 2027 largely open

Scope -
Low- and high-risk OB
Vaginal and complicated deliveries
C-sections
Fetal heart rate interpretation
OB ultrasound
Laceration repair
D&C and hysterectomy
Laparoscopic and operative GYN procedures

Requirements-
Board Certified or eligible under applicable post-training criteria
Ability to obtain New Mexico licensure
Current clinical case logs
At least 50 vaginal deliveries and 20 C-sections in the past 12 months
At least 25 GYN surgical procedures, including 5 major abdominal cases, in the past 12 months
