🔹 Locum Tenens OB/GYN Physician – Springfield, OH
Facility: Community Hospital (Springfield Regional Medical Center)

Setting: Inpatient Hospital-Based Coverage (Labor & Delivery + GYN)
Start: As soon as credentialed
Providers Needed: 2

🏥 Practice Environment
90% Labor & Delivery coverage
L&D / Postpartum / Triage: 34 beds
Hospital: 205–254 beds
Nursery Level II
Onsite Lab & Ultrasound
Support: L&D Nurses, Midwives, 1 APP per 12-hour shift
4 OB/GYN physicians currently in practice

📅 Schedule & Call
Shift Type: 24-hour call
Coverage Pattern: Friday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM (every other weekend)

Call Ratio: 1:4
Weekend Coverage Required: Yes
On Call: Yes (in-house/primary call)

60% Low-Risk OB
40% High-Risk OB
60% GYN
Avg GYN Surgeries: 5/day
C-Section Rate: ~1%
Nursery Admissions: ~4/day

✅ Required Skills
Vaginal & Operative Deliveries
C-Sections, Breech, Multiples, VBAC
3rd & 4th Degree Laceration Repairs
OB Ultrasound Interpretation
Diagnostic & Minor Laparoscopic GYN
Operative GYN (ectopic, oophorectomy, cystectomy, LOA)

📋 Requirements
Board Certified OB/GYN
OH License (or willing to obtain)
BLS, ACLS
Clean Malpractice

Flight, Hotel, Rental Car, Mileage reimbursed

• 🏥 Inpatient Hospital-Based OB/GYN coverage with 90% Labor & Delivery | Level II Nursery | Epic EMR
• 📅 Every Other Weekend: Friday 7AM – Monday 7AM | 24-hour call | Call ratio 1:4
• ✈️ Travel reimbursed (flight, hotel, rental car) | OH license or willing to obtain | Board Certified required
