Type: Independent Contractor (1099)
Time Commitment: Approximately 2-6 hours per month, primarily evenings
Compensation: Competitive hourly or per-visit rate

Position Summary
We are seeking a licensed Gynecologist to serve as an Independent Contractor supporting clinical safety and tolerability studies involving feminine hygiene and personal care products.
This is an ideal opportunity for a physician seeking a flexible consulting role that does not involve primary patient care, prescribing medications, call coverage, obstetrics, disease management, or hospital responsibilities.
The physician will conduct standardized gynecological evaluations on healthy adult volunteers participating in IRB-approved clinical research studies.

Responsibilities
Perform external vulvar and, when required by the protocol, internal vaginal examinations.
Assess local tolerability of investigational products.
Document objective clinical observations using standardized study forms.
Review and evaluate adverse events related to study participation.
Support subject eligibility assessments when required.
Participate in occasional protocol review discussions.
Provide medical oversight consistent with protocol requirements and applicable regulations.
Products Evaluated May Include:
Feminine body washes
Vaginal moisturizers
Vaginal suppositories
Douches
Feminine wipes
Other personal care and over-the-counter consumer products

Qualifications
Required
MD or DO degree
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gynecology
Current unrestricted Texas medical license
Professional liability insurance (or ability to obtain coverage)
Strong clinical documentation skills

Preferred
Previous clinical research experience
Experience serving as a Principal Investigator or Sub-Investigator
Familiarity with GCP (Good Clinical Practice)
Industry or contract research experience
