Plastic Surgery & Hand Trauma – Charleston, WV

Start Date: As soon as credentialed (anticipated August 2026)
Assignment Length: 6 months with the option to extend

Highlights:
• Consistent schedule of one week per month with ongoing coverage needs
• Diverse case mix including hand trauma, reconstructive surgery, cosmetic procedures, and breast reconstruction
• Licensure assistance available through IMLC or a West Virginia temporary license

Schedule:
• One week per month
• Thursday 7:00 AM – Thursday 7:00 AM
• Clinic, OR, and call coverage

Practice Details:
• Hospital and Ambulatory Surgery Center setting
• All ages patient population
• Collaborative team consisting of physicians, APPs, nurses, and support staff
• EMR: Cerner

Clinical Responsibilities:
• Hand trauma management and surgical intervention
• Treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, and other hand conditions
• Body contouring and cosmetic surgery procedures
• Breast reconstruction services
• General plastic and reconstructive surgery care

Requirements:
• Board Certified Plastic Surgeon required
• Active state license required or willingness to obtain through available licensure pathways
• DEA required
• BLS and ACLS required
• Hand trauma experience required
• Experience with cosmetic surgery, body contouring, and breast reconstruction preferred

Credentialing: Approximately 60 days
