This mid-size to large hospital and medical center in Englewood, NJ provides specialized hematology and oncology services in an outpatient clinic setting. The facility maintains a clinical support team that includes oncologists and two additional advanced practice nurses to support coordinated patient care delivery. Hospital credentialing for this position can be completed in approximately 30 to 45 days.

About the clinician's workday

Clinicians will provide outpatient hematology and oncology clinic coverage Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with flexibility for a 4 x 10-hour shift schedule. Clinicians will manage 10-12 patient encounters per day in an on-site outpatient clinic setting, with no call or weekend coverage required. All clinical documentation must be maintained through the EPIC EMR system for patient encounters and treatment planning activities. Board certification in Hematology/Oncology, an active New Jersey license, and prescriptive authority are required for this assignment.
