The facility maintains a structured clinical support team that includes a personal medical assistant, scheduler, case manager, referrals coordinator, admitting staff, clinical trials nurse, navigation nurses, and infusion staff to support coordinated patient care delivery. Clinical operations are designed to facilitate quality hematologic and oncologic care throughout the covered assignment period.

About the clinician's workday

Clinicians will provide on-site hematology and oncology coverage at an outpatient cancer center in Arizona, Tuesday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, managing approximately 12 patients per day with 30-minute appointments for both consults and follow-ups. The clinical scope encompasses predominantly benign hematology, along with monitoring of oncology patients for recurrence, with 0-2 new consults expected per day. No call coverage is required for this assignment. Board certification in Hematology/Oncology and prescriptive authority are required.
