Shift: 5×8s, Monday–Friday
Hours: 8:30a–5:00p
Consistent weekly schedule
Role Overview
Outpatient oncology position within a large cancer center. Locum will manage patient visits, support infusion workflows, and handle in-basket messages. No procedures required.
Work Details
Support Staff: Physicians, APPs, RNs, MAs
Patients per Day: 12–14 adults
Cancer Types Seen: Breast, GI, GU, Hem/Onc
Infusions: Performed on-site; infusion knowledge required
Practice Setting: Outpatient clinic
EMR: Epic
Skills Needed: Strong communication, professionalism, ability to thrive in a high-acuity oncology department
Requirements
Board Certification (NP): A-GNP-C, ANP-C, FNP-C, GNP-C, AGPCNP-BC, ANP-BC, FNP-BC, GNP-BC, ACNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, ACNPC-AG, ACNPC
License: Active CA license required
DEA: Required with Schedule II
Certifications: AHA BLS
Experience: Minimum 2 years recent adult outpatient oncology experience; breast/GI/GU strongly preferred; infusion experience preferred
