Locum Med Oncology NP - FT only - Outpatient - CA license

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to provide locum services in an outpatient oncology clinic setting in Berkeley, CA.
This is an excellent opportunity for an NP looking for full-time coverage starting February 9, 2026.

🏥 Job Details:
Specialty: Hematology/Oncology – Outpatient Clinic
Setting: Cancer Center – Outpatient
Schedule:

Full-time, 5 days per week (Monday–Friday)
Day shifts: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
No call required

Contract Length: 22 weeks
Start Date: February 9, 2026 (credentialing required)
Patient Volume: ~12–14 patients per day
Patient Population: Adults
Charting Software: Epic
Support Staff: Physicians, APPs, RNs, and MAs

✅ Requirements:

Active California NP license (required)
DEA with Schedule II authority (required)
BLS certification (AHA)
Board Certification: A-GNP-C, ANP-C, FNP-C, GNP-C, AGPCNP-BC, ANP-BC, FNP-BC, GNP-BC, ACNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, ACNPC-AG, or ACNPC
Minimum 2 years recent experience in adult outpatient oncology
Preferred: Experience with breast, GI, or GU cancers and infusion knowledge
Must have Epic experience
Professional, clear communicator, and team-oriented


📋 Credentialing:

Estimated timeframe: ~60 days
Completion of facility-specific forms and verifications required
Interview with department leadership
