Surgical Oncology / Breast Reconstruction APP Opportunity – California (April/May 2026)

Job description

This is Kaitlin, Principal Recruiter with Aya Locums. We have a new Surgical Oncology / Breast Reconstruction APP opportunity in San Francisco, CA starting April/May 2026.

• Start Date: April/May 2026
• Assignment Length: 26 weeks, with option to extend
• Schedule: 4×10s (Tuesday–Friday)
• No call required
• Must be comfortable with OR first assist responsibilities and inpatient management
o 50–75% OR time (primarily breast reconstruction cases)
o 25–50% inpatient floor management (med/surg/tele unit)
o OR volume: ~2–4 cases per day
o Inpatient census: ~2–8 patients
• Majority reconstructive breast surgery following mastectomy
• EMR: Epic
• Active CA license required, potentially open to licensing.
