Assignment Details:

Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: Ongoing
Schedule: Full-time only
4x10s or 5x8s
Weekend coverage required
Practice Setting: Outpatient Infusion Center / Cancer Acute Care Clinic
Patients Per Day: 10–12
Patient Population: Adults and adolescents
EMR: Epic

Work Details:

Manage urgent care and same-day oncology triage patients
Evaluate and manage treatment-related adverse reactions
Coordinate transfers, direct admissions, and emergency department referrals
Provide independent patient visits in a consultative model
Work autonomously while collaborating with oncology physicians, APPs, nurses, and inpatient services
Manage oncology patients throughout diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up
Line removal experience preferred
Facility works closely with inpatient oncology services

Requirements:

State License:
NP: Active California NP license required
PA: Active California PA license required and Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies
Board Certification (NP Only):
ACNP-BC
AGACNP-BC
ACNPC-AG
ACNPC
DEA: California DEA with Schedule II required
Certifications: ACLS required
Preferred Certifications: OCN or AOCNP
Experience:
Minimum 2 years required
Oncology inpatient experience required or
Combination of infusion center experience with emergency/urgent care or critical care experience
Skills Required:
Oncology disease management
Experience managing oncology patients from diagnosis through treatment
