Specialty: Oncology – APP
Provider Type: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Location: Fremont, California
Coverage: Full-Time
Practice Setting: 100% Outpatient Clinic

📅 Schedule
4 x 10-hour shifts per week
Full-time coverage
Outpatient only
🩺 Work Details
Typically ~8 patients/day, up to 12
Adult patients only
Solid tumor oncology
No acute leukemia
Most visits consist of:
Pre-chemotherapy visits
Short-term follow-ups
Some triage
Management of infusion reactions
Iron and non-oncology infusions
Possible initial hematology consults, although unlikely
No procedures – physicians perform procedures
Epic EMR
👥 Support Staff
1 additional APP
MAs assisting with rooms and scheduling
Nurse navigators
✅ Requirements
NP or PA
Minimum 1 year of Oncology experience
BLS required
California DEA with Schedule II required

Licensing:
PA: Active CA license preferred
NP: Active CA license required

NP Board Certifications Accepted:
A-GNP-C, ANP-C, FNP-C, GNP-C, AGPCNP-BC, ANP-BC, FNP-BC, GNP-BC, ACNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, ACNPC-AG or ACNPC

Approximately 60 days

• 13 weeks with option to extend
• No on call
