The facility maintains a support team that includes oncologists and two additional advanced practice nurses to facilitate coordinated patient care delivery. Hospital privileges are required and can be obtained within a 30-45 day credentialing timeline.

About the clinician's workday

The hematology/oncology nurse practitioner will provide outpatient clinic coverage Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with the option of a 4 x 10-hour shift schedule. Clinicians will manage 10-12 patient encounters per day in an on-site clinic setting, utilizing the EPIC EMR system for all clinical documentation and treatment planning activities. No call or weekend coverage is required for this assignment. Board certification in Hematology/Oncology, an active New Jersey license, and prescriptive authority are required.
