Assignment Details

Specialty: Blood & Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT)

Location: La Jolla, CA

Shifts: 12-hour shifts, 7 days/week (Monday–Sunday rotation)

Night Call: Not required (covered by Hospitalist team)

Average Census: 10–12 patients per APP

Support: Collaborative rounding with 4 APPs daily

Responsibilities

Inpatient rounding and coordination of care

Admissions and discharges

Management of malignant hematology patients, relapse post-transplant, and complex comorbidities

Collaboration with BMT and oncology teams

Requirements

APP Certification: PA-C, ACNP, or AGACNP

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP required

Experience: Prior BMT, hematologic malignancies, or inpatient hospitalist experience strongly preferred
