Facility:
This established hospital facility provides comprehensive hematology and oncology services to the surrounding Northern California community. The oncology clinic is directly attached to the chemo treatment center and the hospital, offering a fully integrated care environment with strong administrative support for locum providers.

Advanced Practice - Physician Assistant - Hematology Oncology

Job Details:

• Outpatient clinic setting with no call required
• Full-time need with a minimum of 4 weeks of shifts required per month
• Shift times are 8am-12pm and 1pm-5pm with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break
• Guaranteed 8 hours per day with overtime applicable after 9 hours (preapproval required from clinic manager)
• Expected 12-14 patient encounters per shift
• Active California license required; licensed in CA only
• DEA required; board certified or truly board eligible required
• BLS certification required
• Providers must supply two years of inpatient case logs in the specialty to qualify for hospital privileges
• All gaps greater than 3 months in clinical activity must be explained
• Clean files preferred - providers with settlements, DUIs/drug issues, restrictions, terminations, or Medical Board actions are not eligible for temporary privileges
• Providers with clean files may be eligible for a September start date; others may anticipate an October start
• Estimated credentialing timeframe is 60 days
• Long-term housing assistance available with a maximum approval of $3,500 per month
