BMT Physician Assistant Assignment in San Diego!

Job description

We are currently seeking an inpatient BMT APP for an opportunity in San Diego starting this fall!

✅ Work details:

Specialty: Inpatient Blood and Bone Marrow Transplant PA
Start Date: 10/12/2026
Contract Length: 3-6 months
Shift Details: 12-hour shifts, 0700 to 1930
Schedule: Day shift, Unit runs 7 days per week Monday-Sunday. Night calls are not needed, as Hospitalist team covers

Work Details:
• Patients per day: Average 10-12 pts
• Department description: PA would round on patients with 4 other APP’s per day, care coordination, admits/discharges, care for relapses after transplant, malignant heme.


📌Requirements:
• License required: CA
• Certifications required: BLS, NRP, ACLS certs required
• Minimum experience required: Required to have BMT experience, or extensive Inpatient Hematology/Oncology experience. Co morbidities are common, experience with BMT and Hospitalist is plus

Credentialing Timeframe: 45-60 Days
