Hematology/Oncology APP (NP/PA) – Minneapolis, MN – Locums – No Call/Weekends

Specialty: Hematology/Oncology APP (NP or PA)
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Position Type: Locums-to-Perm, Locums
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 3–6 months (with option to extend)
Schedule & Shifts:
• Monday – Friday
• Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• No call, no weekends
Work Details:
• Coverage Needed: Full-time
• Setting: Hospital (686 beds)
• Patient Volume: 11–16 patients per day
• Patient Population: All ages
• Department: Hematology/Oncology
• Focus: Hematology APP (benign & malignant cases REQUIRED); second APP needed for Oncology focus
• Procedures: Hematology inpatient services only (no infusion center coverage; handled by in-house staff)
• Support: Physicians and APPs (Heme/Onc inpatient support available)
• EMR: EPIC
Requirements:
• Board Certified NP or PA
• Active MN license (Temp Privileges available if clean background; IMLC accepted)
• BLS, ACLS required
• DEA not required
• Minimum: Prior hematology/oncology experience; strong hematology focus required
Additional Info:
• 2 APPs needed (1 with strong Hematology background, 1 with Oncology)
• Bone Marrow practice in development – knowledge helpful but not required at this stage
• Credentialing Timeframe: 60–90 days
