PA Hematology/Oncology – Locum Tenens – Potsdam, NY Area

Job description

A regional health system clinic in the Potsdam, NY area is seeking a Physician Assistant for a Hematology/Oncology locum tenens assignment. The program is growing and prefers full-time coverage but is flexible for a close-to-full-time schedule.

Assignment Details:
- Schedule: Monday-Friday 8-5 (one-hour lunch)
- Length: 6 months
- Infusion: 15 chairs
- Patient Ratios: 18-20 patients per day
- Charting: Epic (AI-assisted documentation available)
- Board eligible or board certified accepted
- OT after 40 hours/week
- NY license required (in hand)
- Epic experience required

Practice Setting:
- Outpatient clinic with occasional inpatient consults (not frequent)
- Treatments include: chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, hormone therapy

Other Notes:
- Professional attire, closed-toed shoes
- Cell phone required if AI charting is used
- Submitted candidates must have up-to-date work history with no gaps of 30+ days
