Hematology/Oncology Physician – Locums (Double Boarded Required)

Job description

Location: Alaska
Start Date: January 2026
Duration: 4–5 months (January–May 2026)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay: $300–$365/hr.

Position Highlights
Outpatient-focused schedule – no call required
4x10 or 5x10 options available with a 2-weeks-on / 1-week-off rotation preferred
Average of 12–13 patients per day (1-hour new consults, 30-minute follow-ups)
Join a strong support team with 3 MDs and 2 APPs
Rounding at nearby partner facility may be requested (within walking distance)
Cerner EMR (transitioning to Epic)

Requirements
Board Certified in both Hematology & Oncology (Double Boarded Required)
Active Alaska medical license (required at time of submission)
Must meet vaccine requirements (COVID-19 and Flu, no exemptions)
Cerner experience preferred
3 professional references and a progress note sample required at submission
