Locum - Physician - Hematology Oncology Santa Cruz, CA

Job description

We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Hematology/Oncology Physician for a full-time locum opportunity at Dominican Hospital in Santa Cruz, California. The provider will work in an ambulatory clinic delivering comprehensive hematology and oncology care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team that includes nurse navigators, social workers, research coordinators, genetic counselors, and dedicated RN staff. The facility features a co-located infusion center, a 17-bed inpatient oncology unit, and utilizes Cerner EMR. This assignment begins September 29, 2026, with a Tuesday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule. An active California license and DEA are required.

• Outpatient Hematology/Oncology Practice – Tuesday–Friday schedule (8:00 AM–5:00 PM) in an ambulatory clinic with no call requirements specified.
• Comprehensive Cancer Program – Work alongside a multidisciplinary team with a 15-bay infusion center, 17-bed inpatient oncology unit, tumor boards, clinical trials, and dedicated oncology support services.
• Potential for Permanent Placement – Facility is seeking a long-term fit and may offer a full-time permanent position if the locum provider is a good match.
