This 266-bed acute care hospital in Redding, California serves as a regional referral center for a six-county area in Northern California. The facility offers comprehensive emergency, trauma, and specialized medical services to the regional patient population. Clinical support staff includes 1 clinic RN, 2 MAs, 2 front office clerks, 1 quality analyst/billing specialist, and 10 infusion RNs to support coordinated care delivery.

About the clinician's workday

Clinicians will provide outpatient hematology and oncology coverage on-site, encompassing all aspects of diagnosis, staging, precision medicine, symptom management, and treatment of hematologic and oncologic conditions in an adult population. MD oversight is required for both the Oncology/Hematology clinic and Infusion Services, with MD presence on-site mandatory for all infusion treatments. The Infusion Center delivers Chemotherapy, Immunotherapy, Blood/Platelet transfusions, Hormone therapy, Antibiotic Therapy, Rheumatoid Arthritis injections, and Therapeutic Phlebotomies. On August 31, the clinic is closed and coverage is structured as remote call only.
