Job description

• Practice Setting: 4 days outpatient and 1:3 call coverage
• Reason for Coverage: 3-month maternity leave
• Dates of Coverage: September – December 2026
• Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday | Outpatient clinic | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM plus call coverage
• Call Schedule: 1:3 evening call every night and weekend call from Friday 4:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM
• Call Ratio: 1:3

Patient Population:
• Adult patients
• Geriatric patients
• OB patients

Practice Breakdown:
• Hematology: 60%
• Oncology: 40%
• Internal Medicine: 0%

Practice Details:
• Number of Physicians in Practice: 3 (one physician on maternity leave)
• Radiation Oncologists Present During Coverage: Yes
• Number of APPs Providing Coverage: 2
• Average Outpatient Volume: 15–16 patients per day
• Average Inpatient/Call Volume: Approximately 1–5 patients per day

Facility Details:
• Trauma Level: Level 2
• Documentation System/EMR: Epic
• Chemotherapy Administration: Managed by nurse oncologists

• Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: TBD — expedited start approval available if necessary
• Provider must be local — only mileage reimbursement provided

Required Duties:
• Participate in Tumor Board meetings
• Order diagnostic tests
• Order imaging studies
• Prescribe medications and treatment plans

• Shift(s) Description: M-W-TH-FRi outpt/8:30-5pm/ and call
• On Call Requirements: 1:3 -evening every night//weekend Friday 4pm-Mon 7AM
