Locums Hematology/Oncology Physician – Georgia

Schedule
Coverage Type: Scheduled, No Call
Weekly Schedule: Monday–Friday
Shift Times: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Minimum: 3 days per week
Standard: 4–5 days per week

Work Details
Practice Setting: Outpatient clinic
Support Staff: 1 MD onsite, no APP support
Average Daily Census: 16–18 adult patients per day
EMR: Epic

Procedures/Responsibilities:
Tumor boards
Genetic testing
Blood transfusions
IV iron therapy
IV fluids
Chemotherapy
Targeted therapy
Radiation therapy
Must be able to see both Hematology & Oncology patients
Client will consider Medical Oncologists willing to see Hem/Onc mix

Requirements
Board Certification: BC/BE in Hematology/Oncology (BC in Oncology considered)

License:
Georgia license required or IMLC eligible
Certifications: BLS
DEA: Required
Experience: Minimum 2 years
Patient Age Group: Adults
