Position Overview

We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Hematology/Oncology Physician to provide locum tenens coverage at a busy outpatient clinic. The incoming provider will work alongside one MD and clinical support staff (no APPs currently). This role offers an excellent work-life balance with a Monday–Friday daytime schedule and no call.

Practice Details

Practice Setting: Outpatient Clinic

EMR: Epic

Average Daily Patient Volume: 16–18 patients per day

Patient Population: Adults

Procedures & Services

Interdisciplinary Tumor Boards

Genetic Testing

Blood Transfusions

IV Iron Therapy

IV Fluids

Chemotherapy Administration

Targeted Therapy

Radiation Therapy Coordination

Client will consider Medical Oncologists; however, provider must be comfortable managing both Hematology and Oncology patients.

Qualifications

MD or DO with active medical license

Board Certified/Eligible in Hematology and Oncology

Active DEA and BLS Certification

Experience with Epic EMR preferred
