Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call

Schedule

Full-time schedule

Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Shared call: approximately 2 weekends per month

Practice Setting

Outpatient hematology/oncology clinic

No inpatient admits required

Region’s largest cancer facility

26 infusion bays

9 clinical exam rooms

Radiation oncology services located onsite

Comprehensive laboratory services with same-day turnaround

Patient Volume

Approximately 18–20 patients per day per provider

Average of 4 new cancer patients per day

1–2 hospital consults

Support Staff

Medical oncologists

Radiation oncologists

Radiologists

Nurse Practitioners

Responsibilities

Evaluate and manage hematology and oncology patients in an outpatient setting

Supervise chemotherapy administration and infusion services

Manage new oncology consults and follow-up visits

Collaborate with multidisciplinary oncology care teams

Requirements

MD or DO

Board Eligible or Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology

Minimum 2 years of experience as a medical oncologist preferred

Interest in teaching and working collaboratively within a team environment preferred

New graduates will be considered
