About the facility

This Level II facility provides specialized hematology and oncology services across inpatient and clinic-based settings. Established clinical protocols and structured workflows are in place to support coordinated oncologic care delivery throughout the covered assignment period. The facility is staffed by 3 APPs to facilitate quality hematologic and oncologic care on a locum tenens basis.

About the clinician's workday

Clinicians will provide on-site inpatient and clinic-based hematology and oncology coverage on a day shift schedule, with call and 24-hour call obligations required as a component of this assignment. Scheduled clinic hours are structured concurrent with call responsibilities, and clinicians must maintain availability for inpatient and clinic-based patient management throughout all designated coverage periods. The clinical scope encompasses the evaluation and management of hematologic and oncologic conditions across both inpatient and clinic settings, with 15 new consults expected. Board certification in Hematology/Oncology is required for this locum tenens engagement, and 3 APPs are available on staff to support clinical operations.
