New Locums Opportunity in Indiana - Hem/Onc MD

Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a Board-Certified Hematologist/Oncologist for a locum assignment in Indiana.

Assignment Details
-Coverage Dates: January 4, 2027 – May 15, 2027
-Assignment Length: 3–4 months
-Clinic Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
-Call: 7 days per week with inpatient rounding (up to 2 hours daily). No in-house call required. Physician will provide consults only—no admissions or discharges. Call coverage while in clinic is preferred but not required.

Practice Details
-Outpatient clinic with inpatient consults
-Average patient volume: 20 patients per day
-Team includes 2 Physicians and 2 APPs
-Support staff includes 3 RNs and 2 Medical Assistants
-EMR: Epic (preferred)

Required Skills
-Knowledge of NCCN guidelines
-Experience managing chemotherapy treatment plans
-Emergency response skills for chemotherapy-related medication side effects

Requirements
-Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology
-Active Indiana medical license required
-Active DEA registration (or one that can be easily transferred and remain in Indiana)
