Hematology/Oncology Locum Opportunity - Richmond, Indiana

A well-established regional health system in eastern Indiana is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Hematology/Oncology physician for ongoing locum coverage beginning September 2026.

This is a full-time opportunity with an excellent work-life balance, collaborative support staff, and a modern practice environment.

Schedule

Tuesday through Friday
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Mondays Off
1-hour unpaid lunch
Provider should ideally cover 3-4 weeks per month

Call

Night and weekend call rotation
Call schedule to be determined
Telephone call only unless APP requests physician assistance
APPs provide first-line coverage

Practice Details

Inpatient and call coverage
Travel between multiple practice locations
Winchester every Wednesday
Hagerstown twice monthly (1st & 3rd Thursday)
EPIC EMR
No Telemedicine

Requirements

Active Indiana License or IMLC
Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency)
BLS Required
ACLS required if requesting conscious sedation privileges
Flu and COVID vaccination (or approved exemption)
Case logs required
Order entry completed by locum physician
Vemsta time entry required
