Job description

Aya Locums is seeking an experienced Hem/Onc Physician in Indiana.

Assignment Dates:
-January 4, 2027 – May 15, 2027
-5 month assignment

Schedule:
-Clinic: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
-Call: 7 days per week throughout the assignment
-Inpatient rounding as needed (typically up to 2 hours per day)
-No in-house call requirement
-No admissions or discharges required; consults only
-Provider may take call while covering clinic, if preferred

Practice Details:
-Outpatient clinic with inpatient consult coverage
-Average of 20 clinic patients per day
-Team includes 2 physicians and 2 APPs
-Support staff includes 3 RNs and 2 Medical Assistants
EMR: Epic (preferred)

Required Skills:
-Knowledge of NCCN guidelines
-Chemotherapy treatment planning
-Management of medication side effects and emergency response

Requirements:
-Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology
-Active Indiana medical license required
-Active DEA required (or one that can be easily transferred and remain in the state of Indiana)
