Hematology/Oncology Physician Needed in Michigan City, IN | Outpatient Only | No Call | PRN

Job description

This is a PRN, outpatient-only hematology/oncology opportunity in Michigan City, Indiana, with no call component. The schedule is two to three clinic days per week, 8:00a–4:30p. The role starts as soon as the provider is credentialed (targeting October 2026) and runs approximately 13 weeks, with the option to extend. This is not a local role; candidates within 50 miles should not be submitted.

The physician manages an outpatient hematology/oncology practice, handling new patient consultations and follow-up visits at roughly 20 patients per day. Responsibilities include developing and managing chemotherapy treatment plans, applying NCCN guidelines, and managing medication and chemotherapy-related adverse events. The practice is well supported, with two physicians, two APPs, three RNs, and two MAs, and documentation is in Epic, with training available.

Candidates must be Board Certified in both Hematology and Medical Oncology, hold an active Indiana medical license and an active DEA (or one easily transferable), and be payor enrolled. Epic experience is preferred.
