We’re seeking a Board Certified Hematology/Oncology physician for a low volume, outpatient locum tenens opportunity in Prestonsburg, Kentucky. This is a clinic based role with no call, offering schedule flexibility and the option to share coverage between two providers.

Pay
• $4500-4700 per day

Schedule
• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• 3 days per week preferred
• Flexible coverage models available:
o Single provider covering weekly days
o Two providers alternating 1–2 weeks on / off

Practice Overview
• Outpatient Hematology / Oncology clinic
• Approx. 15 patients per day
• Low volume, solo provider workflow
• Case mix: ~60% Oncology / 40% Hematology
• Locum providers participate in Tumor Board

• APP support onsite
• Additional physician support at affiliated nearby location
• Community based oncology practice with consistent schedule
• Focus on continuity and quality patient care

Requirements
• Board Certified (Internal Medicine, Hematology, and/or Medical Oncology)
• Recent patient facing clinical experience required
• Active state license or willingness to license
• Comfortable practicing independently in an outpatient setting
