Job description

Hematology/Oncology locum opportunity in Lexington, KY. This is a primarily outpatient oncology role at an academic medical center.

Schedule:
• Start: August 2026
• Ongoing assignment
• Monday – Friday
• 8:00am – 5:00pm
• No call required
• Providers must be able to cover at least 1 week/month

Practice:
• Academic oncology program
• Focus on GI, GU, Breast, and Lung Oncology
• ~16 patients per day
• Mix of new consults and follow-ups
• Strong APP, RN, and administrative support
• EMR: Epic

Requirements:
• Board Certified or Board Eligible Hematology/Oncology Physician
• Active KY license or IMLC preferred (open to licensing)
• KY DEA required
• Outpatient medical oncology experience required
• Epic experience preferred
• New grads welcome

Credentialing:
• Approximately 90–120 days
