Medical Oncology Physician needed in Lexington KY

Highlights:
• Flexible scheduling with 1–4 weeks of coverage available per month
• Primarily outpatient Medical Oncology practice

Opportunity Details

Location: Lexington, KY

Schedule:
• Primarily outpatient coverage
• Minimum of 1 week per month needed
• Ideal availability of 2–4 weeks per month
• Optional inpatient call opportunities may be available for interested providers

Practice Details:
• Academic/teaching environment
• Approximately 16 patients per day
• Adult patient population
• New patient consultations and follow-up visits
• Focus on GI, GU, Breast, and Lung Oncology
• EPIC EMR

Support Staff:
• 3 Full-Time Administrative Assistants
• Registered Nurses
• Nursing Assistants
• APP Support (NPs and PAs)

Requirements:
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology
• Outpatient Medical Oncology experience required
• New graduates welcome
• Kentucky License or IMLC preferred
• Facility willing to assist with licensing
• Kentucky DEA required
• EPIC experience preferred

Additional Information:
• Name clear required prior to presentation
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 90–120 days
• No temporary or emergency privileges available
