Job description

Aya Locums is seeking an experienced Hem/Onc Physician in Kentucky - willing to license.

Assignment Details:
* Start: ASAP
* Contract Length: 12 months preferred
* Schedule: 3 days per week preferred
* Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
* No call

Practice Setting:
* Outpatient clinic/private practice
* Approximately 15 patients per day
* Solo provider with APP support
* EMR: Meditech

Clinical Mix:
* Approximately 60% hematology / 40% medical oncology
* 20% new patients / 80% follow-up visits
* High-acuity cases, such as acute leukemias, are referred to tertiary centers
* Locums providers will participate in the tumor board

Requirements:
* Board Certified in Hematology or Medical Oncology
* Recent patient-facing experience required

Additional Information:
* Credentialing timeframe: Approximately 60 days
